Up for auction is an extremely rare, vintage Steinbach/Thorens Music Box Piano with moving Angels, Works great! This magnificent piano was manufactured in Germany by the famous Steinbach nutcracker factory. The piano contains a music box with Thorens movement. This music box plays metal Thorens record discs, which activates the music box keys and plays loud & clear! The on/off lever is temperamental. As the music plays, the sphere with angels rotates! It’s beautiful!!Please review th...e pictures closely to see that the paint is cracking, there's paint loss, a few angels are missing their wings and an angel has come off the top of the planet. It measures 12.5" long x 8.75" wide x 13" tall (with the angel glued back on). Priced to sell. This is a perfect restoration project for somebody who takes the time to re-glue or replace the angels.
