Antique Chinese Metallic & Silk Embroidered Two Piece Dragon Collar Each side of this two-piece collar has one large and one small five-toed dragon chasing flaming pearls in a field of smoke or clouds above undulating waves, with a fifth dragon formed in the center when the pieces are joined. The dragons are rendered in gold metallic-wrapped threads couched in red silk, the silk embroidery is done in silk floss satin-stitch, and there are inner borders of embroidered bat...s and smoke/clouds and outer borders of Chinese silk damask. The large areas are embroidered on umber silk, and the collar is edged in black silk and lined in blue silk. In overall excellent antique condition, strong and wearable with missing stitches and fraying/breaks along the lining seams, each piece measures approximately 13 x 11-inches.Please Note: We will happily accommodate most shipping requests and will combine multiple purchases for shipping.
