This is a reproduction of the Ferguson Transport Lock. It holds the hydraulic lift arms in the very "up" position. It was originally meant for holding PTO driven mounted implements, like a mower, in the up position while going down the road. (Since the PTO has to run to operate the hydraulic pump, it was not easily possible to run the PTO down the road. So the Transport Lock kept the lift arms in the "up" position, and the PTO did not have to run.) Th...e driver can lean down and push the "cam" part of the Transport Lock downward, then it will not affect the lift arms. I typically sell these for $65.00. This one is powder coated red, but does not have the nicest finish.
