A VINTAGE GILBERT & HALL, HOMEOPATHIC CHEMIST, 15 COMERCIAL Rd & AT LANDSDOWNE, BOURNEMOUTH POTLID BASE POT complete with lid that dates back to the early c1900s. The pot measures 7.5cm in diameter across the base edge and with the lid 4.5cm high, the pot is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean but there is some glaze crackling which has been caused by over 100 years of burial, there is also a chip on the inner flange, the pot lid is in GOOD CONDITION with a flake ...on the flange side all as pictured above. The glaze crackling is perfectly stable and has been present for many years. On the base underneath are the words TOOGOOD PATENT, LONDON which was a method invented to keep the pot and lid together by tying string through the indents on the base edge and over the top of the lid.
