Original Description:
Very interesting early Victorian solid silver medal made by Donald McDonald of Glasgow and assayed in 1841 the same year as it was presented.
It is enscribed  Mr D'Orsey's History Class 1841 on one side  and To Mr James Stein on the other.
It is hallmarked  for Glasgow 1841 and with the  D McD makers mark of Donald McDonald.The hallmarks are clear and readable.The medal is in excellent condition.
The medal measures 2 inches across(5cm.) and weighs 21 grms.(...0.68ozt).
