This is a beautiful Art Deco 1920-1930’s Czech Gablonz turquoise-blue satin glass wedding cake roses necklace. A similar necklace can be seen in the delightful book “Glass Beads from Europe” by Sibylle Jargstrof.Lovely round beads with pairs of floral metal end caps are individually strung to form a long chain. There are gold aventurine and pink rosebud decorated round and olive shape wedding cake beads leading to the beautiful large feature tabular bead and the pair of long drop...pers. It fastens with a secure sprung clasp.Each side of the beaded chain measures 31cm or 12”, the tabular bead is 2.2cm, the longest dropper falls to 10cm.A lovely necklace in fabulous vintage condition with the appearance of having never been worn.
