Up for auction is this very rare antique Chinese famille Doucai porcelain large bowl with lotus flowers and vine scroll tendrils throughout. Spaced between are four red ruyi cartouches with additional decoration. Colorful powder enamels and a scarce Chinese porcelain art.
Does have several hairlines / surface hairlines and a star crack on bottom. The photos don’t even pick up most of the hairlines they are so faint. Still no losses and very stable piece. The red wax export stamp i...s still on bottom. I believe it may date to the late 19th C.
Measures 7.3” inches in diameter and 2.8” inches tall (18.5 cm, 7.1 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a unique gift.
