Mid 19th Century Mans shaving mug. All made from tin, tall form with side holding handle. Has neat outer compartment with a hole to the inside of the mug, to allow soa...p and water to mix for shaving. Flat bottom, nicely soldered. Measures 4 1/2 inches tall. Form and style suggest Civil War era, and this very well could have been used by a soldier .
