Nyonya Straits Peranakan Charger famille rose enamel decoration depicting precious objects, the colours are vibrant and the enamel in good stable condition. The Charger is thickly potted with a slightly greyish porcelain body, the footrim is fairly coarse porcelain with minor inclusions visible in the paste. On the reverse there are three sprays of bamboo painted in iron red enamel. There is a chip to the underside of the rim, this doesn't affect the stability and is ...not visually distracting. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
Dispatched with Royal Mail first class, the object will be packed wellto prevent damage in transportation. These objects are antique, or have age to them, they are all handmadeand have been used and probably loved by previous owners, flaws and minordamage are part of the objects history. Sometimes during manufacture flaws can occur as a result of misfiring inthe kiln, this can add interest to the object. I have listed any damage, or firing flaws that might affect a buyer’sdecision to purchase but minor abrasions, surface scratches, minor losseseither to surface decoration or the body of the objects are all part of whatmakes them interesting and unique, therefore all objects are sold as seen.Returns not accepted.
