1950’s Smoking and Shoe Shining Panda Bear toy by Alps. Made in Japan. Excellent working and cosmetic condition with original box. The Box has some minor damage but is hard to see. The battery compartment is in excellent condition which is rare. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS. Sold as show. No returns.

Actions include raising left shoe, both hands move left and right to simulat...e shoe shining. Simultaneously he bends his head forward and down to "see" what he's doing. At the same time a puff of mechanical smoke is emitted from the metal tube in his mouth. The left leg is hinged so that it too moves from the wagging of the other three limbs. Of course, the bell in his left hand rings with his shining action. Needs some oil to make smoke (not included)
