Antique Double Pickle Castor, Rogers & Bros Triple Plate, with Tong and Fork. Made by Rogers & Bros between the years of 1874 - 1898, this double castor is between 120 - 135 years old.Rogers & Bros was established in 1858 at Waterbury by Asa Jr and Simeon Rogers and up to 1874 they manufactured flatware only. In 1898 they became one of the founding companies of the International Silver Company.The castor is triple-plated silver and includes both tongs and pickle fork. ...It is in very good condition for its' age. Glass is in near perfect condition with one very small nick, too small to photograph.The triple plate silver has patina and on one lid, the silver plate is very worn.
