Guaranteed to be original and as described- - Antique old early 1900's Chinese silk woman's / ladies winter coat robe with butterflies, cranes, flowers and some gold gilt thread. The robe is decorated with butterflies , flowers and the cuffs are decorated with cranes and bats as well. The ground colors are black and blue and the robe looks far better in person..very beautiful. The inside of this unusual antique Chinese winter robe is lined with a fur... or cotton material...SIZE: 54 inches wide by 35 inches high.....CONDITION: The condition is very good overall... Photo ten shows a spot of missing silk at the inside of the collar. Photo eleven shows some loose fabric inside of the cuff.. easy to be fixed. Photo twelve shows the outside of the cuff that has separated from the robe. The other cuff has the same minor problem.. ALL are easy fixes. I believe that the buttons are not original and were replaced sometime in the 1940's a long time ago. There are a few spots of fading on the back as shown. I am just mentioning these details for accuracy in the description.. this truly is a rare and superb beautiful old Chinese winter / coat robe.
