Description:Price Drop $250.00Very unusual estate find of this matched set of cherry amber bakelite hand carved Phoenix birds. Stands approx 5" tall overall not counting wood base (6-1/4" with wood base). Measures approx 4" wide at base and 1-1/8" deep. Weighs 7.04 and 7.91 ounces or 224 and 200 grams per Phoenix. Both have repaired handles that hold the rings (see pics). Exceptionally carved with great attention to detail. Deep cherry red ...coloring (see last picture held up to bright lights). A bit dusty from home display. I could not find similar Phoenix birds in a set for comparison.
