This is an authentic original set of eight 11” x 14” 1977 lobby card photos with card stock construction for the original Star Wars release. The set was sent to a theatre that opened the film six weeks earlier (see postmark photo) by 20th Century Fox via the National Screen Service Cincinnati office. These lobby cards were never used at the theater as its only display frames w...ere 8" x 10". The film ended up playing at the theater for 30 weeks.
NSS # 77/21-0 is the same on all eight photos. These are NOT reprints, reproductions or bootleg. These cards were NOT displayed at the theater or elsewhere.11" x 14" eachCard stock
The cards have been stored here and there for 42 years in the now significantly deteriorated cheap paper-sack “envelope” (included!) in which NSS used to ship such things, but protected by being sandwiched between one-sheets. Cardstock construction did make the cards themselves pretty sturdy and the sack mostly worked. Some predictable age yellowing of the white bottom border areas of photos. Several upper right corners have some very slight bends.PLEASE SEE PHOTOS and email me with any questions.
FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING via USPS First Class with tracking.(continental U.S. only - for International Shipping please see below.)
Card stock photos are shipped in a padded envelope with multiple cardboard inserts to minimize bendability.
Satisfied buyers make me joyful. My goal is to describe the item in such a way that you know precisely what you are buying. If you have any questions please email me in advance. I don’t technically offer refunds (I just believe the Ebay minimum waiting period too long) BUT if you email me within 72 hours of package delivery (monitored via tracking) I’m sure we can work it out.
Please note that International shipping is handled entirely by Ebay's Global Shipping Program (GSP.) As seller I only ship to an Ebay GSP facility in KY, US and they take it from there. The Global Shipping Program completely determines the total cost to the buyer and I don't know that total until after the transaction is complete. In addition to shipping, handling and insurance, these costs these may also include import duties and VAT taxes depending on your location and presidential whimsy. GSP also determines how the purchased item is categorized and its value for assessing duties. It can add up. I've had quite a few international buyers but unless you've bought a similar item under these circumstances please be forewarned. Thanks!
