11th WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE 1963 - BRONZE SHIELD PIN
I am listing a complete set from the 1963 World Jamboree. As a little Scout, this is the Jamboree I dreamed about attending (I was to young to go). Just imagine, camping on the Plains of Marathon - Closing Ceremonies at the original 1896 Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece. What an adventure! This time, they did not make a participant's patch - its a pin. The patches you have f...ound are considered "souvenir" patches sold at the Trading Post at the Jamboree. With less than 11, 400 attending, it was one of the smallest World Jamborees ever - not many people, not many patches. Take a look to see it all!
CONDITION: Good, shows age - been sitting in a box all these years. - refer to photos
