This is an early Thayer Magic Manufacturing Die & Chimney magic trick. It's been completely refurbished in the Okito & Milson Worth style, including lacquer paint, authentic period transfers, and new lettered graphics, as well as pinstriping.
The trick, by Thayer's own admission, isn't a parlor effect, but meant for the stage, as the metal gimmick has a tendency to make itself known during handling. It is, however, entirely ready for performance.
