Royal Copenhagen Denmark porcelain figurine of a Dachshund puppy dog at play, model 1408 by artist Olaf Mathiesen. In mint condition and of first quality, the figurine measures 4 1/2" long by 2 1/2" tall. Fully hallmarked, and a nice touch is the original company paper label still attached to the underside. The hallmark dates production of this piece to between 1969 and 1974. An adorable and appealing pose, and certainly a must have for the serious Dachshund collector.
