An entire folder of material from the height of the cold war. Various pamphlets about civil defense, fallout protection, first air, firefighting and how to build a fallout shelter. A brochure for the Scot Fallout Shelter and one for the Gibraltar Bomb Shelter (signed by the inventor). Also some loose pages from the Ash Jon Corp. about rations and drinking water and a brochure from the Southern Packaging Company Inc. advertising emergency survival foods.This is a fascinating look at a v...ery scary time in America when the threat of nuclear war was very real and families had to decide how to prepare for it.The publishing dates are all from about 1960-62. The condition of most everything is excellent. The folder that held all of it has some discoloration.
