Vintage Jefferson Medical College Of Philadelphia Skull & Crossbones Pin Silver?

Not sure of age, but for sale is a vintage pin from the Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia with a Skull & Crossbones image on it. I was not able to locate any markings as to metal content. Silver? Plate? Measures approx 14mm across. Thanks!
