This charming bell box has a well made wooden case with finger jointed corners and feels strong and sturdy.There are no cracks or chips to the black painted glass that I can find. The gold lettering and lining to the windows is in good condition, however, there are the scuffs and marks that you would expect with years of use. All the flags are present and they move freely in their arms, however, they have faded a little over time.The wooden case has the also scratches, scuffs and mark...s you would expect from an item of this age, but, the wood has gained a lovely patina and depth of colour over the years.It has nine windows, they are; Front Door Back Door. Dining Rm Bath Rm Bedrooms 1 2 3 4 This is a delightful piece of social history that would look great on the wall in your hallway or any other room for that matter.The case measures 40.5 cm (16 inches) by 22.5 cm (9 inches). Bell BoxThis charming bell box has a well made wooden case with finger jointed corners and feels strong and sturdy.
There are no cracks or chips to the black painted glass that I can find.
