Antique Whiting 1914 Portland Sterling Silver Ice Tongs, Monogram On Handle.Beautiful antique Whiting sterling silver ice tongs. Good condition with minimal wear; see photos for details. I believe it’s a “S” monogrammed on the handle (see photos).Also, the joint-end of the tongs are curved inward. I’m unaware of the was intentional or if the end had unintentionally been bent. After research, I am unable to find an exact match to this brand and pattern to compare, however one co...llector has informed me that “crimped” edges are common with antique tongs.
