On offer today is a high quality Creamer of very good size and hefty weight.Assayed in Sheffield by very good maker John Edward Bingham. It is dated 1887.Year letter U. Hallmarks are deep and clear and to side.A very attractive jug, it is of gothic form and most pleasing on the eye.The diameter is 5.125 inches.Height is 3.75 inches. It weighs a hefty 208 grams (6.69 troy ounces) and this piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. Comes engraved to one side and alway...s has been.In excellent order and a really high quality piece of hollowware.A functional Victorian lot in this highly desirable design.
