This is a very large collection of vintage machinist woodworking or blacksmithing metal files. All vintage USA as Nicholson or Simonds and others. These files are made from the highest quality Swiss or American tooling steel, hardened throughout the entire thickness of the file, not just the cutting surface as is done on the cheap junk ones made today.
