DESCRIPTION
This original P12N has one damaged spot on the cone, but is in otherwise excellent condition. Tested with a guitar and vintage tube amp to moderate volume, it works......BUT:
1)There is a small damaged spot in the surround, and as a result makes a fluttery noise on mostly noticeable on lower notes. It disappears on higher notes. Besides this issue (which could hopefully be repaired) this speaker sounds fantastic!
2) Even though the existing cone coul...d maybe be repaired, this is officially being sold as for parts / repair / candidate for Re-Cone, etc. since it's technically damaged. Sold AS IS. NO RETURNS.
The basket is in great overall condition. The cone is stamped 3012B21-H1 and appears to be original! The solder terminals were also very carefully cleaned up and are ready to go. The voice coil measure 6.5 ohms (DC Resistance), and has no discernible rub when gently pressed around the edges.
