Up for auction is this terrific heavy bronze high relief plaque of former US President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt. Quite large at about 14 inches X 9 3/4 inches. Features a high relief image of Roosevelt with his signature below. Made of vee4ry heavy bronze. Not signed although definitely done by a professional artist/sculptor! Has 4 mounting holes on the back, suggesting that this was once possible mounted on a building or wall. Bronze exhibits a wo...nderful age patina. In nice shape with no splits, cracks or dents. A 2 inch discolor line (see pictures on the right side of Teddy's head) from the vintage/antique age of the piece. Must be quite rare as our research has not turned up another plaque of image like this! A great piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
