A VINTAGE ANTIQUE CROSSE & BLACKWELL, 21 SOHO SQUARE, LONDON, BY ROYAL APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY COAT OF ARMS PICTORIAL , FISH PASTE, ADVERTISING BARREL SHAPED POT or JAR from the early c1890s period. The barrel stands 9.5cm high and is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with full original gloss sheen to the glaze surface, having no chips or residue left inside either. Note the attractive crackle glazed effect that has been caused by prolonged burial of ov...er 100 year or more. There is a fine but stable hairline on the inside of the lip that does not show outside, a bruise on the edge of the lip and another on the base edge inside. Please note that I am quite happy to combine purchase for buyers to help save money on postage and shipping costs.
