You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL, BELIEVE TOUGHER TO FIND EARLY VARIETY Antique pharmacy PALE CLEAR PURPLE COLOR, SMALLER 3 3/4" TALL VARIETY / drug store bottle once used at A DRUG STORE, PHARMACY called " BURKE DRUG CO. PRESCRIPTION DRUGGISTS" in 1880s-1900s era, in old downtown MORGANTON, NORTH CAROLINATHIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SPECIMEN, BUT DOES HAVE A SMALL INTERNAL FLASH IN LIP (see gallery) WHICH IS STABLE, AND SMOOTH TO TOUCH....H...OPING YOU CAN TELL HOW NICE THIS ONE IS FROM MY AVERAGE PICTURE TAKING ABILITY :)...THIS IS A GREAT BOTTLE AND EARLY VARIETY...THIS BOTTLE DISPLAYS WELL, CRISP EMBOSSING...I KNOW ZERO ABOUT NORTH CAROLINA MEDICINE BOTTLES...THIS CAME OUT OF A DRUG STORE BOTTLE COLLECTION FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES...HAS NEVER BEEN CLEANEDIt is tougher than you think to find these old PHARMACY BOTTLES THAT ARE THIS NICE... THIS ONE HAS PALE PURPLE GLASS, ….EMBOSSING IS CRISP ... GLASS AND EMBOSSING IS NICE...LOVE THE CLASSIC LOOK OF THIS BOTTLE...HAS NEVER BEEN CLEANED OR EVEN WASHED OUT The old town of Morganton is located in Burke County NC....not too far from Hickory and Lenoir NCI have inspected this bottle, seems really nice..glass is very nice, embossing is crisp, (see gallery)...Can find no cracks, chips, or major damage, just as mentioned an internal flash in the lip, it is stable, and smooth to touch, but tough to see when displayed...nice smaller sized bottle about 3 3/4" tall...COULD USE A CLEANING, HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED.The bottle is what I would call very pale clear purple colored glass, it stands about 3 3/4" tall ...and it is a very nice specimen...THIS IS A TOUGH TO FIND MERCHANT BOTTLE... the GLASS IS GREAT , took pictures from all angles and in different lighting conditions to show glass, neat bottle. Nice antique bottle, AND TOUGHER TOWN & MERCHANT .....NICE CLEAR UNCLEANED VARIETY, 3 3/4" TALL DRUG STORE PHARMACY BOTTLE...from old town of MORGANTON, NORTH CAROLINA.All my bottles are carefully packed in bubble wrap and oversized rigid box to make sure they get to you as you see them :) Thanks so much for looking....collect and invest in history!!!!!
