Up for auction is a customized big bust of H.R. Gigers “Big Chap” from the cult horror science fiction film Alien. Years ago, a friend who worked at Sideshow gave me parts of a huge (and expensive!) statue that had been returned to Sideshow after being damaged in transit. I repaired the damage to the head, back and body with Ave’s apoxie, and airbrushed the repaired spots to blend into the original paint, effectively turning it into a striking display bust. The translucent head i...s about 12” long, and the bust stands over 7” tall. I actually think it looks better as a bust than it did as a statue! It’s very impressive in person, and I’ve gotten a lot of nice comments about it. Bust is ready to display and sits on a custom painted black metal round base, the bottom of the base is felted to protect your furniture! It’s a one of a kind piece, and needs a good home in a Alien or Giger collection!
