Good quality genui...ne 110+ year old watch, in working order, with its original movement which is housed in a solid silver case. It has an unblemished white enamel dial with roman numerals and has a protective glass cover. The silver Albert watch chain has fancy contrasting chain links with a secure silver swivel/dog catch and attached is a new brass watch key for winding.Measurements Great size, the watch measures approx 2.05 inches (53mm) in diameter, excluding stem, and is 0.65 (16mm) deep. The silver watch chain measures 10 inches (253mm) in length with a further 2 inches on the fob chain.Date Antique Swiss solid silver, stamped with 3 small standing "bear" hallmark stamps, denoting Swiss silver and is also stamped with a "935" silver mark, a higher grade than "925" Sterling. The Albert chain has rubbed lion passant silver marks on the chain links, the t-bar is not silver, the swivel catch is stamped "Sterling" and is probably later in date.Maker The enamel dial is stamped "H E Peck, London", "Swiss Made". Condition Good condition, the watch is in working order and a strong runner, it does lose time so probably just needs servicing/adjusting as it would not have been done for a long time. The silver case has no splits or repairs and no nasty knocks or dents, just little age-related surface bruises from normal use, really nothing at all bad. The enamel dial is undamaged and the protective glass has no cracks. The antique silver Albert chain is also in nice condition and the silver swivel catch (later in date) works perfectly and has a strong spring.
