Some rust is on the nails from their many years of storage.
* Found in an old barn htat was closed up for 60 years.
* These nails look hand made and from the mid to late1800's.
* Machine made nails came into use in the 1820's and were made until the common wire nails replaced them. The heads are 1/4" x 1/4" and each is numbered from 24 to 32 with several duplicates.
