Period: Victorian c1840.
Marks for Walker, Knowles & Co.
Dimensions: approx 265mm / 10 1/2 inches diameter.
Condition: Overall very good. There are old solder repairs to each foot but this is only visible if the tray is viewed upside down. Warm copper tones bleeding through. Patches of tarnish that will polish off. Dings and surface scratches. Wear commensurate with age and use. Please see photos and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.
Notes: Fantastic late period Old Sheffield Plate salver with chased patterns and decorative feet/border. Interesting old crest engraved to the centre depicting three towers inside a shield.
