This is a very rare and nice decorative nickel plated brass toilet paper holder with its original wood dowel or roller. It is marked The Brasscrafters. It is a quality made piece that is still complete with all its original parts. The nickel plating is scratched a little bit, and there is just a little bit of paint still left on the back of it, but it is really in excellent condition, for its age especially. My understanding is that this company (Brasscrafters) was around in the early ...part of the 20th century, perhaps 20s and 30s predominately, and their old stuff is getting harder and harder to come by. That’s at least the best that I can determine, and I’ve had a few of their items. It will work with modern rolls, and would make a great addition to your vintage or antique bathroom.
