Print of publicity photograph of the U.S. Navy Fleet Admiral, Chester W. Nimitz, signing Japanese Surrender document at the end of World War II on the U.S.S. Missouri. Image is printed on cardboard matte which is 11 x 13.75 inches. Photo image is 8 x 10 inches. Apparently the matte was stored loosely, as it is bowed. Some water stains visible on the back. Personalized signature and note of Nimitz is written below the image. I read it as: "To Boy Scout... Troop #2 -- Boy Scouts of America with best wishes and warmest regards. C.W. Nimitz, Fleet Admiral, US Navy."Shipping: Sent by USPS Priority Mail with insurance and is included free as part of the winning bid.
