Saratoga High Rock Spring/ 1767/ (rock cone)/ C&W/Saratoga NY. Beautiful deep dark emeraldwith light whittle. There is an in-the-making linear furrow in the neck and asmall chip on the base edge which is now worn quite smooth. Shards of these bottles have been found at the NewburghNY factory. This is a very scarce bottle and is not to be confused with the morecommon High Rock Congress. Greatexample of old glass, bright and clear with strong embossing.&...nbsp; Because it is such a dark emerald color, it photographs poorly. A front-lit photo is included which shows the embossing quite well.
