I found a very similar one sold that the seller said was early c1930s or 1940s Taxco. That one had taller, slimmer masks & more dots in between the masks, but everything else is the same. If you've seen any Taxco jewelry, you've seen many pieces styled with dots like this.
Description: Vintage c1940s? Early Taxco? Sterling Silver & Carved Masks of Green Stone Bracelet Signed on underside of clasp loop 'S.R. - SILVER - MADE IN MEXICO'. It is a panel bracelet with three ma...in panels that each contain a carved mask. Smaller panels with dots are hinged to large panels. The masks are very creepy looking, almost alien-like. They are all hand carved and you can see the variation.
Not sure what the carved green stone is. Maybe green onyx but the hue doesn't look right. Maybe gaspeite or green agate?
When I received the bracelet it was in the case you see in the photos. I doubt it's original, but the case will be included.
IIT IS A LARGE BRACELET. I AM A MALE & IT FITS MY WRIST WITH A LITTLE ROOM TO SPARE. My wrist is 6 3/4" around. THIS BRACELET WILL FIT A WRIST WITH A CIRCUMFERENCE OF 7" pretty closely.
Measurements: 7 3/4" total length. At it's widest at masks it is 1 3/8" wide. Smallest width at dots is 1". Large panels are 1 3/8" x 1 3/4" long. Small panels with 3 dots are 1/2" x 1". Masks are similar size but not exact, all are 1" wide & first two on left are 1 1/8" tall, but one on right is 1" tall. It weighs 72 grams total.
Condition: Good to Very Good. I have not cleaned it so there is minor oxidation & tarnish to silver. Hinge is excellent, it is tight & strong. There are several small cosmetic imperfections to the surface in the form of small dings & kinks. Most are very faint & minor. There is one that is more prominent because it is a kink right in the middle of a large sweeping line at the edge. I've highlighted it with a red circle in final two photos to show what I'm talking about. This is the only notable imperfection & it could definitely be fixed easily by someone familiar with metal work. Please inspect the photos.
Shipped FREE via USPS with appropriate care... Thank YOU!
Payment
I have had to take precautions because of people not paying. You will have 4 days to pay, then an unpaid item case will be opened. From this point you will have another 4 days to pay. That's EIGHT total days, however if you don't pay the case will close and show on your Ebay record. At this time the item will be offered to the next highest bidder or re-listed. A case HAS to be opened to recoup selling fees.
Shipping
I only ship within the US or to eligible Countries through the Ebay Global shipping program (however I don't use this for all items). If it doesn't say I ship to your Country in shipping details, then I won't, no exceptions, sorry. The shipping service will depend on the buyers location and the package weight. I predominantly use Priority Mail unless an item qualifies for First Class, however I will use Parcel Select in some instances particularly if you live out West (I am based outside of Buffalo, NY). I am not a business and I reuse boxes and packaging so my packages aren't always the prettiest, but I do spend a lot of time and effort in ensuring items are packed with care, handled fast and shipped using an expedited service when possible.
Bids/Offers
I will NOT end items early via accepting a buy it now price or even respond to people offering amounts in exchange for me ending the item early. If I am selling an item via auction it will not end prematurely unless I made a mistake in the listing or the item was lost/broken. Please keep in mind I like to use free shipping and shipping prices fluctuate quite a bit. This is a consideration during offers. I may sell an item cheaper to someone closer to me opposed to someone bidding out West because the shipping may be a lot cheaper. If an item is heavy, the shipping out West is very expensive.
Returns/Refunds
I offer returns on all items except for items that are being sold broken for parts/fix. You will have 14 days from the time you receive it to return it, no questions asked. If you simply don't like it or it doesn't fit then you are accountable for the return shipping. If i make an error in the listing (and I will from time to time) then I will pay for the shipping back to me. I will make mistakes. However, threatening to escalate cases etc. won't make the process any more enjoyable. I have been accused of all sorts of things while selling on this platform, but when I make a mistake in a listing or an item doesn't function properly YOU WILL BE FULLY REFUNDED and I will lose money on shipping to and fro. Just return the item, I will refund you every time. I didn't get good feedback by deceiving people on purpose or taking shortcuts
Feedback
I generally leave feedback AFTER the buyer. This is just a little extra confirmation that you received the item and you're happy with it. Regardless, many people still don't leave feedback but after a period of time (enough time where I can assume the item isn't getting returned) I will leave positive feedback whether you have or not.
I am not a business, but an individual who enjoys selling on Ebay very much. This is not my occupation, more a hobby. I source items from all over. Estate sales, garage sales, liquidations, auctions, consignments for friends. I do my best to keep buyers happy and them bidding risk free. If I make a mistake I will go out of my way to make things right and I believe my feedback is a testament to that. THANK YOU!
