It has great character and patina. It is all original, and has some wear. The glass panes have a nice texture. See the last picture for how the textured glass will cast shadows at night. The fixture has new wiring, a new por...celain socket, and there are a few small repairs to the ceiling canopy. The repairs are quality repairs that will last. This fixture originally had bars of copper that made a cage in front of the glass and a lid for the bottom. Although missing, the fixture still looks great and most people would never know unless upon close inspection. All the mounting hardware necessary for modern installation will be included. Ready to install. The bulb used is for display purposes. It is a standard size 40 watt which can be found at most hardware stores. The socket is a standard size so you can use any standard bulb of your choosing. Antique light fixtures are one of the best additions you can make to your home!
