Vintage Musical Jolly Chimp by Daishin Japan Battery Operated In Original Box As Seen In Toy Story Monkey
Great battery operated toy. This is a very nice solid box has no rips or splits only a spot on the front where a price sticker had been removed a long time ago. The chimp has really good clean clothing. His right pant leg has came loose at his foot where the thread broke, but is an easy fix with a needle and thread. The battery box i...s very clean. The chimp has a small spot loss/hole of fur on the top of his head (as shown in photo) where you press to activate him. The chimp only partially works. He will play his cymbals and make a squawk sound but does not show his teeth. I put fresh batteries in and he did not work at all but then I put the batteries the wrong way and he worked like I described before. This is a Mixed Up Monkey. This comes from our personal old toy collection.You may know how to fix that problem. The Chimp and His Box will display very well.
