It is of rectangular form with rounded edges, it has a removable top to put cards inside.
The front is embossed with a dragon among clouds, there is also a heart shaped vacant cartouche, this is all against a matted ground
The reverse has peony flowers against a matted ground.
The decoration is crisp and well defined, it is of good quality.
The only... mark is in the inside of the sheath, is a Chinese character mark which is for an unidentified maker.
Length - 8.7 cm / 3.45 inches
Weight - 52 grams / 1.67 ozt
Condition - decoration is crisp and very good, there are a few knocks to the outside edges. There is a small split to the edge of the top lid (last but one photo).
