Beautiful Matching Pair of Antique French White Ceramic Rise and Fall Lights
Lovely lights with matching coolie style, opaque fluted glass shades complete with original galleries and old brass/ceramic light fitments
Very good antique condition but will need rewiring. The old wiring has been left in situ deliberately so that you can see how it works and how it should be replaced. There is a small chip on one ceiling rose but it is hard to find.
They are very hea...vy as they still retain the original iron filings. The ceiling roses are 3.25" (8cm) diameter. The ceramic weights are attractively formed to match and are the same diameter - each about 5" high (13cm).
We bought them in France about 2 years ago intending to use them when we moved - but the ceilings are too low.
