We are offering for sale a stunning quality set of twelve French silver drinking tots in their original presentation case. These tots have a great feeling of quality and it is rare to find a complete set of 12. They were made in Paris around the turn of the 19th to 20th century and are ideal for use with spirits and liqueurs, either as an aperitif or after-dinner drink. The tots retain their original gilt (gold-wash) interiors and are a fabulous suite of cups.
The top quality c...ase containing the cups is original and even retains its original cushion to prevent internal movement whilst being carried. There would originally also have been a tray fitted in to the lid, but this is missing.
Each cup has a good solid feel and is in fine condition.
