This is a vintage handmade carved Robin under a bubble glass diorama done by a well known carver Arthur Peltier of RI. He carved until the 70's when he passed. This is one of many different birds, animals, and fish he carved back in the day. I had an extensive collection of his works, but due to a near future move and my age, I have been selling off a lot of his works. This piece is a 7" x 7" framed diorama with a Robin that measures about 3 1/2" in length perched on a twig as shown. He has the ...paint down perfectly as well as the carving.
