Vintage CHAPIN STEPHENS No. 61 Boxwood & Brass Carpenters' Folding Rule
This is a vintage 24" size CHAPIN STEPHENS CO. - PINE MEADOW, CONN. U.S.A. No. 61 four-fold boxwood and brass Carpenters' rule with square joint. This rule is equivalent to the Stanley No. 61 rule. I rate this ruler in GOOD + CONDITION overall. It has 2 of 3 alignment pins in place and folds up tight. Most of the numbers and markings are clear and easy to r...ead. A nice example of a vintage folding rule by this Pine Meadow, CT maker for you to add to your antique measuring tool collection!
