This pre-prohibition beer tray out of Wilmington, Delaware shows a stout older man happily eying his glass of beer while an alert white dog looks on. The tray is identified as issued by the Joseph Stoeckle Brewing Co., Diamond State Brewery. On the back, the brewery's location in Wilmington is noted as being at 4th & Jackson St.
The tray is 13 inches in diameter and made of a sturdy metal. In small print, you can make out the manufacturer as the Meek Company of... Coshocton, Ohio.
The photos should make the condition readily apparent. The tray has multiple rust spots, some larger and more severe than others. There is also a white, bleached-out spot at the bottom of the tray. The tray was nailed to a wall at some point because there is a small nail hole just below the upper trademark symbol. The good news is that the figure of the man himself is mostly untouched by rust except down by his boots.
