One of two c1930's - 1940's oil on canvas paintings of European ports. Both paintings are initialed EG. Both are laid down and framed with mid century carved, painted, and antiqued frames. I do not know if the painter is a European or an American in Europe. Expert ebayers may have an idea.This horizontal format painting measures approx. 8 x 10in. and is laid down upon masonite. The view is of fishing boats in a harbor, one boat flying a French flag.... Initialed lower left. The frame measures approx. 13 x 15in. In generally good overall condition with a little surface rubbing. The frame with some small surface losses and a loss to the lower left edge.
