*Up for sale here is quite the handsome looking hutchinson soda bottle, from the Somerset County town of Windber, Pennsylvania. *Located 8 miles south of Johnstown, Pa. The coal mining industry, lumbering and the making of fine brick occurred there many years ago.*This soda bottle is in near mint conditio...n, and is sparkling clean with no glass issues. It has seen barely any wear, with the nice crude larger embossing. The color is a pleasing blueish aqua shade. *It is nicely embossed within a circular slug plate ~ "S.H. MILLS/ WINDBER, PA." The base sports a large embossed "H". On the lower reverse heel it carries the "C. & CO. 5" Pittsburgh glass house initials. Bottle looks to date from the early 1890's era. It has the tooled on blob top. The clarity of the glass is excellent as seen here.
