Vintage 6000/Di Series 2 COINMASTER Detector 2 Coils, White's Electronics Nice! 8 inch and 10 Inch Coils Round
I don't know how to test this metal detector. It has 2 battery packs, one is a rechargeable w/the charger and the other is where batteries are inserted into a holder to power on the detector. Because of the age of the rechargeable batteries I don't want to try and charge them. The batter holder (plastic box) won't stay shut when batteries are in i...t.
The latch on each side of the back of the unit for the batteries are in good condition. There is scotch tape ate the top go the meter, it looks cracked. Otherwise the detector I think is in very good condition.
Please understand that this is an electronic device and we have tried to described it to the best of our ability. There could feature(s) that we are not aware of that do not preform properly. These vintage pieces of equipment can and do fail at some point. This is from the late 70' early 80's. Please ask questions before placing your bid.
