Welcome to this auction that features a wonderful, one of a kind creation by Norma DeCamp, with signed card, 2009.
The deer has a suede 'trapping' with wooden poles/handles. There are a few bare spots of the flocked deer...see pictures. He is about 8 1/2" long, and 8" high not including the antlers. There is a piece of fur on his back that could also be used as a seat cover in the sleigh. The poles have small holes that fit into prongs on the sleigh....
Santa is 8" high. Santa has on a worn faded flannel coat. He has on a faux fur hood. He has on a narrow suede belt. He has a bag in the sleigh that matches his coat. Beautifully detailed face.
The sled measures 8" long and a back loaded with a bag. There is a bellows on the bag and a toy sticking out of the bag. There is a wreath the front of the sleigh. Norma accented the runners with a bit of white paint to look like snow. There is a pillow backing on the seat, and like I stated before, the fur piece could be used on the seat for Santa. There are toy accents on the side of the sleigh...a rabbit head and Santa head that Norma made along with four other pieces. On the other side of the sleigh are other toys...a jack in the box, Santa head, and dolls.
There is an adorable rabbit running along side the sleigh!
