Antique Miniature Perforated Paper Bristol Board Watercolor Theorem Needle Case Book
RARE 19th c. finely detailed perforated paper needle book with watercolor theorem of pink roses. During the early to mid 1800s, this type of needle book was given as a token of friendship or love. This book features the fine artwork on the front and woven thread geometric on the back.Wool "pages" are hand stitched around edges.Charming gem from the second quarter of the nineteenth century.&nbs...p; DATE: 1840 -1860s
CONDITION:
No tears or holes to bristol board.Discoloration on lower right of front card.Silk tie in intact. No holes to wool pages, but two small spots.
