Beautiful Antique Victorian Hallmarked 9ct Gold Mourning Locket Back Brooch. The back of the brooch features a locket compartment for hair or other keepsakes The brooch is hallmarked to the reverse “9ct” with makers initials, the hallmark is rubbed but can be seen and I also tested the brooch and it tests for 9ct goldI cannot decipher the makers initials The brooch has had the back pin soldered back on at some point during its life, the glass in the locket moves around and there ar...e minor surface scratches and wear all of which are entirely commensurate with age however please study my pictures carefully and decide for yourself upon the brooch condition before purchasing or bidding The brooch approximately measures 3.9 cm by 1.3 cm and approximately weighs 2.1gThe back pin is not goldMy pictures are not to scale please see my pictures as these form my description also please see my other listings
