This listing is for an authentic vintage sample of wire fencing. This wire features an unknown patentee and maker. This wire is called "Harness Ring Horse Tie on Four Heavy Gauge Barbless Lines" by collectors. (ref. Hagemeier NO LISTING FOUND). This wire features four heavy gauge barbless line wires. Three of these run parallel to each other and are wrapped by the fourth line. ...Harness ring is slipped over the three lines, and held in place by the wrap of the fourth line. Harness ring has an outside diameter of 2-1/2". Wire sample is 18-1/2" in length. Wire shows age and use wear with light to moderate pitting. Wire is in good used condition. This sample of antique fencing wire is absolutely old and authentic and sells with no reserve. Shipping will be $4.50, within the United States.
